Flavio Briatore has openly stated that it's a possibility that Jack Doohan could be replaced by Franco Colapinto part way through the 2025 Formula 1 season, with Doohan's contract reportedly only being good for the opening six rounds of the year.
I get that Briatore's focus is primarily financial. Okay, fine, that's the reality of F1. What I don't like is this public flailing of drivers from people like Marko and Briatore. If all parties understand what's in their respective contracts, there's no need to flog it out to the entire world. It's classless, cruel, and smacks of intentional malice. If Doohan can't do the job, the track will tell the story soon enough. Leave it at that.
